About Us
Garry has lived in the East Gippsland area all his (short) life, and I have been visiting since 2000, moving in 2005. We now live in Bemm River, with our 2 dogs and too many orchids to count.
Garry is the photograper, and keeps improving in the quality, as he keeps enhancing the equipment he uses (Nikon D40X). Garry has been the major contributor to developing the website - travelling to get just the right photos for your enjoyment.
Both of us have an active interest in gardening, not just our beloved orchids -
Garry has a keen interest in Native flora, and especially indigenous species to the East Gippsland Region. Garry has a Certificate IV in Horticulture, which is of great benefit when maintaining the nursery.
Jacqui, maintains the orchids data base and is always required to write up a new label. Jacqui enjoys the perfumed plants and bulbs - spring in the garden is heaven scented.
Jacqui has had a long interest in orchids and in 2006 completed Certificate and Advanced Orchid courses, providing more specific orchid knowledge for the care of the nursery.
